This is what we stand for.
An artistic mini-manifesto for a graceful movement through a crazy spinning world.
d. resense
c. reconnect
We are witnessing a change of the change. One key feature of this change is an increasing disconnection, polarization and moralization of public as well as private conversations, leaving people either hesitating to speak their truth or yelling each other down. This causes us to freeze instead of moving gracefully and freely.
The world is in turmoil, and this is nothing new. Well, almost. While the speed of transformation is still high, the form of turmoil has changed. Latest since the end of the cold war, desired societal change was about overcoming old limiting and restrictive (if you want: oppressive) structures and systems. Now, with the return of autocratic and authoritarian developments, it seems it's probably less about developing more of a liberal and democratic society, but about prevention, safeguarding and protecting what we have.
In this heated climate, we draw deliberately to (a widely ignored and underestimated realm) a realm that has moved from the core to the edge of modern society – the Arts. Widely seen as the place of a) entertainment and beauty, it’s also the place for b) disruption and novelty. And even that is not all: The Arts is a visceral mirror of the world, which helps us to c) connect with each other and which brings us d) literally down to our senses, to ourselves, to our human essence.
It is those four colours of Arts that we would like to offer to a wider corporate, administrative and societal audience, in order to create/enhance human mutual understanding, blissful collaboration, towards a world, in which people can co-exist freely and work on a liveable and viable future
Too much, too loud, too fast – this is the experience of many of us, and it’s exhausting. Accordingly, we don’t want to produce more of it; in fact, it’s the opposite. Sometimes we need to become small, slow and silent in order to realize what’s actually happening. The Arts is a sensual experience, which teaches the capacity of listening – to oneselves, to the outside world, to nature, with all of our senses involved. This is something we want to give and hold space for, encourage to step in and stay, for a little longer than usual. Because it enhances the fundamental capacity to perceive clearly, relate authentically and act from grounded awareness rather than reactivity.
standing in our human essence
discovering playful ways of building acceptance, curiosity and common ground
In all the noise we quickly loose the silent voices, especially when fear and anxiety is on the rise. It’s not only about the voices of the others, it’s also about the silent voices within ourselves that are shut down too quickly. Here we want to open spaces for playfully overcoming fear and rediscovering the other and the other-within-us as a friendly, curious fellow.
b. reignite
a. entertain
paving ways for a brighter, not darker future
entertain any audience we meet
With this in hand, we can much more stand to see and unfold the disruptive power of the arts. This can help to unleash unseen potential to move on, to create new paths and build courage and curiosity to what is ahead.
In the most serious manner possible. We understand ourselves as stewards, facilitators, community builders and, once in a while provocateurs. You can see us find us as the wise wild witches and sorcerers, as clowns, jesters, buffons, as shamans, healers and tribal dancers. And who knows … along the way, you might turn into your own version of all of this. We’d be thrilled to have you!
